Known Austin Technology Camps

  • Hello World Tech Studio - Hello World's spring programming takes place at select Austin school sites once per week (including GMS) and are two-hours in duration. Hello World's summer programming consists of five one-week intensive sessions at cutting-edge technology workspaces in downtown Austin. Session topics include software engineering, machine learning, engineering of autonomous cars, and computer science of game design.
  • iD Tech Camps - iD Tech Camps offers summer technology camps where kids and teens (ages 7-18) create iPhone® and Android™ apps, programs with C++ and Java, video games, websites, movies, robots, and more. These STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs are held at over 60 prestigious universities throughout the U.S. In Texas, this includes Southern Methodist University, St. Edwards University, Texas Christian University, Trinity University, the University of Houston, and the University of Texas at Austin. iD Tech Camps’ fun, un-school environment has small class sizes (max 8:1 guaranteed) for personalized 1-on-1 instruction.

  • WSTechCamp - WSTechCamp is dedicated to building the minds of the future. Their goal every week of camp is to create an unforgettable experience for every camper and lead them to discover the fascinating world of Computers & Technology through innovative projects, fun activities, and customized lesson plans so that today's campers become tomorrow's leaders. WS Courses are designed with every Techie in mind and the counselors are programmers, graphic designers, website creators, game developers, and computer science enthusiasts who love to share their knowledge about Technology and its applications with campers that are anxious to learn more.
    The camps are held at Concordia Univ.
  • Digital Media Academy - At Digital Media Academy summer camps at UT Austin, kids and teens get to explore their interests, have fun with other kids, and create a project that is uniquely theirs. These tech camps, for one or multiple weeks with options for day camp or overnight/sleepaway camp, will give young people a chance to try their hand at a wide range of projects under the direction of experienced industry professionals who love teaching kids. Whether they choose to explore filmmaking, game development, music and video production, web design, or cartoon creation, your kids will enjoy Texas-sized fun in a safe and supportive environment.
